Our Process
1. Layout
After the design is finalized and you are happy with the final look, we stake out your new pool’s footprint, allowing you to see how your new pool will fit in your backyard. We don’t break ground until you know the location and position and are satisfied with everything.
2. Fencing & Excavation
At this time, we will dig the depth and shape of your pool based on the exact details of the design specs. Some of your fencings must be removed so our workers can access your backyard during excavation. We will notify you a few days in advance so that you can move/store pets and items safely as needed.
3. Plumbing & Equipment
Next, we will install and test plumbing lines. We will pressure test the lines to ensure the hydraulic system works appropriately. Our plumbers will work to deliver the safest configuration possible, with a high level of craftsmanship guaranteed.
4. Electrical
At this stage, we will install the electrical equipment, including any lighting configurations you choose. Our electrical technicians must dig a 6-12” trench from your electric panel to the pool equipment (since the pool’s electrical components will connect to your electricity box near the home). We ask that you mark and/or make known any sprinkler or drip lines to avoid damage. Please also take steps to remove plants or other items that need safeguarding before our crew arrives.
5. Structure & Surface
Reinforced steel rebar provides the necessary structure, strength, and durability for your pool. After building the frame, our electrical crew will install the wiring and electrical pad. At this time, the pool’s interior will take shape and be smoothed into place. After the shotcrete sets, we will apply your choice of plaster or pebble surface.
6. Hardscape & Decking
In the design phase, we will install any hardscaping you requested (e.g., an outdoor kitchen, a fire pit, a gazebo, custom water features, or other amenities). Once these features have been installed, our crew will build the pool deck according to the design.
7. Tile
Adding the beautiful waterline tile will have a powerful impact on the unique visual appeal of your new pool. We offer a wide array of tile options for size, style, pattern, and color. Six inches of waterline tile will be installed at the top of your swimming pool: three inches below and three inches above the waterline.
8. Interior Finish
After the decorative waterline tile has been installed, the interior finish will be applied. This usually takes 1-2 days, depending on the type of interior finish. Plaster typically takes just one day, while some stone interiors could require two days. You will be notified of the amount of time expected.
9. Clean-Up & Start-Up
After construction, we will ensure your backyard is immaculate and precise. Construction debris will be removed, your fence will be restored to its original appearance, and we will tend to any landscaping disrupted during construction.
Now the fun begins! We will fill your pool, get the equipment running and balance your water chemistry so that the first swim can occur immediately.
